News : Verizon Wireless to Host Career Open House
May 19, 2014 -- Verizon Wireless will host a career open house as the company continues to search for "passionate candidates with a knack for technology and for providing excellent service to customers," the company announced.
Verizon officials will be on hand at the Wilmington call center to provide tours of the company’s facility, administer pre-employment testing and interview candidates for the immediately available positions. Verizon officials are looking to interview about 100 candidates.
"Verizon is searching for career-minded individuals who seek to shape our rapidly expanding company," said Michele Brookshire, talent acquisition director for Verizon Wireless. "Verizon has a commitment to provide avenues to meaningful success and growth for driven employees who aim to provide an excellent customer experience and who strive for continual professional development."
Verizon Wireless provides a competitive salary and a total rewards benefit program that includes 401(k) savings plan with company matching contributions, medical, vision and dental insurance beginning the first day of employment, tuition assistance and an onsite wellness center.
To receive an invitation to the open house, interested candidates should log on to the Verizon. Candidates should have at least an associate degree.
