News : Vodafone Germany Adds SMS Messaging to Customer Service Operations
Düsseldorf, Germany, Sept, 2018 -- Vodafone Germany has deployed the LiveEngage platform from conversational commerce technology provider LivePerson to enable direct messaging between the company and customers for the first time.
The LiveEngage platform connects Vodafone's customer service agents with the different messaging systems used by customers, allowing agents to contact customers via SMS. The addition of SMS messaging to its customer service operations is part of Vodafone Germany's 'Gigaservice' initiative to digitise customer services and add new technology and services.
