News : Vodafone NL Joins Customer Service Valley Maastricht
South Limburg, The Netherlands, Oct 2, 2015 -- Vodafone Netherlands is one of the partners of the Customer Service Valley, a collaborative project in South Limburg. Government, industry and education are developing a program to get more customer contact centre services to the region. The project is expected to yield 1000 jobs in the next three years.
There are around 30 companies in and near Maastricht with customer contact centres, with a total of 5000 jobs, including 1500 in the Customer Service Valley. The municipality of Maastricht, Vodafone NL, Q-Park and Arvato Bertelsmann will all invest an amount into the programme.
South Limburg is famous for its culture of hospitality and multilingualism due to its proximity to Belgium and Germany and the number of foreign students who come to study in Maastricht.
