News : Voter Helpline Number Launched in Bahraich
Bahraich, Feb 13, 2014 -- In view of the parliamentary elections, a voter helpline has been started at the district and tehsil level for claims and objections in the voters' list.
The deputy district election officer Prem Prakash Singh said the helpline set up at the district level is 05252-232477.
The helpline number of Balha assembly area is 05253-232033, of Nanpara is 05253-262003, Matera -05252-235991, Mehsi - 05252-262006, Payagpur- 05252-234867 and Kaiserganj is 05251-254031 while the helpline number of Bahraich is 05252-233672.
A meeting to review the poll preparation works was held at collectorate meeting hall. During the meeting, the district magistrate (DM) ordered the officers to identify place for keeping EVM machines.
The DM Rakesh Kumar asked the officers to collect data of all the officers and personnel of the offices under the state and Central government. The DM also ordered to keep the BLOs away form the election activities and keep 35% of the staff reserved.
DM said the police circle officers city should also be included in the team of traffic management and to ensure that the polling parties of two sectors should not be allowed to depart in the same vehicle.
The DM ordered the officers and personnel to fill voter application from their posting district.
The district telecom manager Saket Kumar Verma was ordered to provide data of network coverage availability and unavailability.
