News : Voxox and Passage Telecom Roll Out Cloud Phone

San Diego, CA, USA and Lagos, Nigeria, Aug, 2020 -- Voxox, a provider in cloud communication solutions and operator for business communications systems for small businesses in the United States under Cloud Phone and VoxDirect brands, and Passage Telecom, a Nigerian ISP, announced their partnership. As part of the agreement, Passage Telecom is white labelling Voxox Cloud Phone and is now offering the service in Nigeria under the brand, Business Call Solutions, complete with Nigerian telephone numbers. Voxox is partnering with operators worldwide to jointly operate the Cloud Phone solution. This is the first implementation of Voxox Cloud Phone on the African continent. Passage Telecom currently serves Nigerian customers with premium internet services.

Voxox is hosting Passage Telecom's service from its U.S. and European data centers and supports Passage local billing in Nigeria through a merchant payment gateway integration. Voxox UCPaaS (Unified Communications Platform as a Service) is integrated into Passage Telecom's network through SIP and SMPP connectivity.

Once a Do-It-Yourself set-up is completed online, all that a user needs is a mobile phone to which the calls are routed. Passage will later introduce TextMeIn from VOXOX, text message marketing solution, which will enable the small businesses to prepare and launch bulk SMS campaigns, a service currently only available through specialized carriers to large enterprises. TextMeIn allows small businesses to stay in touch with their customers even when they are working remotely.
