Menomonee Falls ,WI, USA, June, 2018 -- Wells Fargo has notified state officials it plans to lay off 46 employees in its Menomonee Falls wealth management unit starting in October.
The San Francisco-based financial services firm told the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development the client service jobs are being outsourced to reduce expenses and "improve operational efficiency."
The affected jobs are in the Wells Fargo Wealth Investment Management Contact Center, which is located at 100 Heritage Reserve in Menomonee Falls.
Wells Fargo said it would assist the employees in finding open positions within the company as well as provide outplacement services.
