News : Exam Results Helpline to Open August 13
Gloucestershire, UK, Aug 6, 2015 -- If you're anxiously waiting for your A-Level results (or know someone who is), help is on hand.
The Exam Results Helpline will open on A-Level results day next Thursday, August 13. It will remain open every day until Monday, august 24 - the longest the helpline has been open for in its 26 year history.
The helpline is funded by the Department for Education and more than 40 careers advisers will be on hand to help students who have received unexpected results and want to discuss their options.
More than 6,000 people called the Exam Results Helpline last year for advice and support on a number of topics including re-sits, re-marks, higher education, careers advice, apprenticeship guidance, vocational qualifications and gap years.
The Gloucestershire Echo will be speaking to pupils and headteachers when they receive their results next Thursday.
