News : WiMacTel Names Wayne Burns Chief Operating Officer
Calgary, AB, Canada, Feb 10, 2015 -- WiMacTel announces the appointment of Wayne Burns to the role of Chief Operating Officer for the company. In this new role he will be responsible for the management of day-to-day operations and driving business efficiencies of tools, systems and processes.
Most recently Mr. Burns has served as WiMacTel’s Vice President, Finance. In that role he was responsible for all company financial activities, systems and processes. Wayne has over 25 years accounting and systems experience at the most senior levels in retail, distribution, manufacturing, agriculture and software development. He has also designed and managed the development of two industry specific administration and accounting systems and implemented state of the art project management, strategic planning and business process management disciplines in all of the companies he has co-managed.
Wayne reports to James MacKenzie, CEO of WiMacTel, and is based at the company’s Canadian headquarters in Calgary, Alberta. His role is effective immediately.
