News : Xerox Expands Lifeline Call Center in Fresno
Fresno, CA, USA, Sept 10, 2015 -- As part of an expansion of services, the Xerox-operated call center for California’s LifeLine program is looking to hire more than 30 bilingual customer service representatives.
"The LifeLine program continues to reach more people whose first language is not English. We need to expand our capabilities to communicate effectively," said Maureen Kenihan, manager of Xerox’s LifeLine call center.
The center, which recently moved into a new facility in Fresno, is seeking applicants who can speak English and one of the following Asian dialects: Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, Japanese, Hmong, Korean or Vietnamese.
Kenihan said the new facility is designed specifically for call center operations and has seating for call center work, space to expand and a better infrastructure network to handle more calls.
