News : Yellow Pages Call Center in Dallas Closing; 100 Jobs Lost
Dallas, TX, USA, Dec 8, 2015 -- Here’s something you may not have thought about much lately and that’s probably why it’s closing.
The Yellow Pages call center in Dallas will close early next year, resulting in 100 permanent job losses.
The center at 1440 Empire Central Drive will close on or about Jan. 30, according to a Warn Act letter sent to the Texas Workforce Commission.
Yellow Pages is owned by YP Holdings, a company formed after AT&T sold a controlling stake in the phone book division to private equity firm Cerberus Capital in 2012.
At the time, AT&T said the division was profitable, but shrinking.
