News : Interactive Intelligence Partners Fintech in Technology Exchange
July 8, 2014 -- US company Interactive Intelligence has entered into a strategic partnership with Fintech Zimbabwe for training of staff and technology exchange.
Interactive Intelligence chose Fintech as its partner to consolidate its presence in Africa. The firm already has a large market on the continent. In an interview with The Herald Business, Interactive Intelligence channel manager-Africa Mr Christopher Bell said Zimbabwe was a favourable choice because it has a booming contact centre sector.
"Zimbabwe is a desirable destination for the company because of its strong contact centre sector. Interactive Intelligence Group is a global provider of contact centre, unified communications, and business process automation software and services designed to improve the customer experience," he said.
Fintech offers software solutions to companies in the banking sector providing services such as unified communications among a host of others.
Mr Bell said the partnership would result in staff from Fintech receiving training at Interactive Intelligence to equip them with new knowledge.
"The partnership will see Interactive Intelligence training staff from Fintech and that will be anchored on providing quality communications between the business and the customer," he said.
Fintech would also benefit from new technology and the accompanying growth in revenue. Interactive Intelligence has technology that it will share with Fintech.
As technology companies, both entities understand the need for customer support. Customers need expert information on how to use these technology products. The expertise Interactive Intelligence has in running call centres would be passed on to Fintech through this strategic partnership.
