News : Zomato Introduces In-app Chat Feature in India and UAE
India, Dec 11, 2015 -- The next time you want to order through the restaurant discovery and food ordering app – Zomato – you can also chat with customer support and ask questions or share feedback at any stage of the order process.
Users can currently message the contact centre anytime between 9am and 11pm (IST) across all Indian cities and UAE where Zomato’s online ordering service is available.
The in-app chat feature introduced enables consumers to chat with the team at Zomato for any order-related queries. This feature has been integrated through a partnership with Konotor, a mobile-first user engagement platform.
The instant nature of the messages enables real time and direct line of conversation for users. Users can track their orders, get information on promos, cancel orders and/or check the refund status for a rejected order.
